Our passion lies in creating beautiful and welcoming lawns and gardens for you to relax and unwind in. Maintaining a beautiful lawn requires some effort and dedication but the results are worth it.
Here are some lawn care tips to help you achieve a lush and healthy lawn. By following these lawn care tips, you can achieve a beautiful and healthy lawn that you can enjoy all year round.
Firstly, mow your lawn regularly and at the appropriate height. The recommended height varies depending on the type of grass you have, but generally it should be between 5-7cm. Mowing too low can damage the grass and expose it to diseases.
Secondly, water your lawn deeply and infrequently. This means watering the lawn until the soil is moist to a depth of 15cm, then waiting until the soil is almost dry before watering again. This encourages the roots to grow deeper, making your lawn more drought-resistant.
Thirdly, fertilise your lawn regularly to provide it with the nutrients it needs to stay healthy. Use a slow-release fertiliser and follow the instructions carefully to avoid over-fertilising, which can damage the grass.Lastly, remove any weeds or pests as soon as you notice them. Weeds compete with the grass for nutrients and can quickly take over if left unchecked. Pests can also damage the grass and should be dealt with promptly.
